About Weekly Bingo on Winzio

Winzio's Weekly Bingo runs Monday through Saturday. One new number is called each day, revealed at midnight. Your bingo card is generated uniquely for your email address — no two players have the same card. Mark off your called numbers as the week progresses. Get a full line — horizontal, vertical, or diagonal — and you've hit bingo. The free centre square is automatically marked from day one.

Bingo has been played in various forms since the 16th century, when a lottery game called "Lo Giuoco del Lotto d'Italia" was played in Italy. The familiar 5×5 card format used today was standardised in America in the 1920s by toy salesman Edwin Lowe, who saw players so absorbed at a carnival game that he commercialised it. Lowe hired a Columbia University professor to generate non-repeating bingo cards — he created 6,000 unique card arrangements to prevent multiple simultaneous winners.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my bingo card the same as other players?
No — your card is generated uniquely based on your email address. Different emails always produce different cards, so the game is fair and no two players are waiting on the same sequence of numbers.
When do numbers reset?
Numbers reset every Sunday. A fresh week of six daily calls begins each Monday, giving everyone a new card and a new opportunity to hit Bingo before the weekly draw.
What counts as a valid Bingo line?
Any five cells in a row — horizontally across one of the five rows, vertically down one of the five columns, or diagonally from corner to corner. The FREE centre square counts as a wild for every line that passes through it.
